Mark Richardson President/Director/Editor

Mark is Lumina Film’s founder, principle director, producer and editor. He has directed, produced and/or edited over 200 commercial spots, corporate & educational videos and music videos. His long-form films, including documentary, corporate and educational films, have won dozens of awards and critical acclaim and have premiered on both HBO and Lifetime TV.

Prior to founding Lumina, Mark was a producer at D’Arcy Advertising working with clients like Proctor & Gamble, Kraft Foods, & Citizen Watches.

At NYU Mark received the honor of being chosen to work under the direct tutelage of Martin Scorcese. Mark’s own independent films, including his last feature “In the Eye of the Storm¯, have won numerous awards and theatrical distribution. But his first feature film - made while still a student at NYU - starred Joe Pantoliano (Sopranos), John Rhys Davies (Indiana Jones) and Tony Randall (Odd Couple) - never got released. It did, however, become a hilarious article for Premiere Magazine.

Glen Mordeci Director/Cinematographer

A native New Yorker, Director-DP Glen Mordeci has been one of the most dynamic and energetic minds in the commercial film industry for the past 18 years. With bases in NYC and LA, he has helmed a variety of commercials including spots for Panasonic, Canadian Club, Hot Jobs, Spike TV and ESPN.

Glen believes the success of a project is not only the mastery of technical aspects, but also a broad and well-versed knowledge of the humanities. The use of visual references to develop the look and feel of a project are instinctual, with concrete examples drawn from art history as well as film history and imagery drawn from popular culture. His addition to Lumina Films in 2005, has pushed Lumina's work to new levels.

Ryan Foregger Director/Producer/Editor

Having worked in Film and commercial production in Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Milwaukee,  Ryan brought his varied production experience to Lumina Films in 2005.  Ryan plays a vital role as Head of Production at Lumina. His knowledge and experience in the production process, from concept to broadcast, is invaluable to Lumina Films and its clientele's production needs. 

Ryan is one of Lumina's talented directors and visual effects artists. His music video work for artists Tim Fite, Ben Kweller, My Brightest Diamond, and others, received two YouTube homepage features, and recognition by Good Morning America, as its YouTube Pick of the Week. In addition his work has been featured on MTV's Total Request Live, Pitchfork, AOL Spinner, Current TV, Country Music Television, Baeble Music, and Post Magazine.

His directing projects have also included a season of "Backstage Pass" for ManiaTV! and numerous indie rock shows for Baeblemusic.

Daryl Bob Goldberg Director

An experienced independent filmmaker with a proven track record of successful as well as critically acclaimed projects, Daryl’s most recent directing work is the highly anticipated romantic-comedy Made For Each Other starring Chris & Danny Masterson (Yes Man, That 70's Show,Bijou Phillips (Bully, Hostel II,Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld, Rules of Engagement,Samm Levine (Inglorious Basterds, Freaks and Geeks) and the legendary George Segal (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe, Just Shoot Me.)
Unholy, Daryl’s previous feature film stars scream-queen Adrienne Barbeau (Escape From New York, The Fog) and cult icon Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer.)  Famed horror distributor Anchor Bay Entertainment released Unholy in 2007.

A focused filmmaker from an early age, Daryl directed and executive produced the award-winning weekly television series Upwards Southwest while still in High School.  That series earned Daryl a talent-based scholarship to the prestigious New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where he created several award-winning short films.  After college, and in between feature films, Daryl has focused his talents on directing music videos.  His work is seen internationally on networks including MTV, MTV Europe and Fuse.

Benjamin Vivo-Wachter Head of Sales

Benjamin first started working with Lumina Films at the age of 18 as a summer intern. He was hired as a production manager and inadvertently landed himself a role in the Lumina produced film "Shadowhood". Although the director valued his performance, he proved to be a greater asset to the production team itself.

At the age of 20, he started En Vivo Consulting, providing source lists for Silicon Valley recruiting firm Ospery One. By 21 he was recruiting executives for the Yahoo! corporation and was responsible for successfully filling a number of high end positions including, Platform Engineers, Architects, Chief Architects, VP's of Engineering, and CTO's in and around Silicon Valley.

In 2008 he shifted his gaze towards the legal world and went to work with a legal recruiting boutique in Manhattan. While there, Benjamin worked directly with Jr and Sr. level associates from the top 25 Law Firms in the world.

Benjamin has returned to Lumina Films with a desire to expand the client base, raise the profile of the work, and promote the exciting and innovative projects Lumina is developing. Lumina is ecstatic to have Benjamin as their Head of Sales.

 

Kary Rho EFX Artist/Editor

Originally from Seoul, Korea, where she taught in the theatre community, Kary Hyunjeong Rho relocated to the States in 2001 where she earned her B.F.A in motion pictures and television from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. While in the Bay Area, she developed her editing and motion graphic skills as a freelance After Effects artist. Her clients included Hilton, Adelphia, and HP among others.

In 2007 she brought her talents to the East Coast and after freelancing has settled in as the lead animator and motion graphic artist at Lumina Films. Her creative problem-solving, unique vision, and wealth of post-production knowledge continue to be a valuable asset to Lumina Films and their clients.

Daniel Rutledge Animator/Editor

Daniel Rutledge, a New England native, came to New York in 2001 and immersed himself in feature film production work. More recently his interests shifted to post-production and, while he has produced and directed several shorts of his own, he has focused on honing his skills as a picture editor.

He joined Lumina Films in 2007, bringing his keen eye and instinctive timing to a variety of Lumina Films post production projects.

Joe Brinson Editor/Web Design

Originally from Syracuse,NY, Joe earned his Masters degree in Television/Radio/Film from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and his Bachelors Degree in Information Technology/Networking from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY. Joe has employed his skills as a small business IT administrator, videographer, web developer and video editor for a variety of companies including Presentation Concepts Corporation and Proctor and Gamble.

Joe's strengths in both the highly technical computer world and highly creative video/web world make him a vital member of Lumina Films' staff, and an important contributor to Lumina productions.

Brittany Pung Editor/Production

Los Angeles native Brittany Pung studied journalism at the University of Hawaii before returning to the contiguous 48. Before settling in New York City, she worked as a videographer for Van's Warped Tour 2007. Filming live concerts and mexican wrestling stoked her creative fire and upon her return to New York has concentrated her time developing her filmmaking skills by shooting fashion events and editing live concerts.

Brittany joined Lumina Films in the fall of 2007 and is a vital contributor in all phases of Lumina production.
